I have both of these sleds a 2003 F7 and a 2001 SRX. Each of these machines has their strong points. The SRX is a better built sled, will last a hell of a lot longer, sounds better, and better on a smooth groomed trail. F7 is very flimsy, light weight, better in the bumps but when we line them up the F7 is always faster. The SRX does a lot better against it on the glare ice or very hard packed snow. If you get into any amount of snow the F7 drives away easy. The 80lb weight differnce is just very hard to overcome. But if I had to keep one of them the F7 would be for sale.

I agree. I run an APEX GT but keep the SRX for a spare. Truth is I ride it a lot also. will NEVER get rid of the SRX. I just want to play with it a bit. Lots of people looking for clean non-abused ones and they are getting hard to find..
I will be taking it to Quebec next week and will ride it for at least a day for sure.
