load them weights up 4.5g each hole..or even 5.5g outer(rivet and washer) if need be.You want her to work its way up to 8400-8500 rpm wot. These motors like to lug a bit to the top.

Tony HELP:
Here is what I have now:
I believe this is the stock 2001 SRX primary set up and it is what I just took out:
8DN-20 with WWW spring
I have 8BU-10's with unknown rivet weight. Tony I think I got these from you a while back. if I use them I can check the gram weight. What total weight am I shooting for?
In the secondary I have a 50/40 helix ( Bender) and a GREEN spring. Since I am not familiar with the secondary spring wrap, I can tell you the bottom of the spring was in hole #3 and the top was in hole #9
DOES THIS TELL YOU ANYTHING?
I do not race this only trail ride it. Just put in fresh rings and cleaned the power valves. It is for my step son to ride and I would like a better than stock clutch setup.

if you have good traction..go Green at 80. Now 53 grams lugged my motor down, trying 52 grams next time out.
53 gramm will work maybe for race not for trail ride ...u will not like the punch in trail if u run 53 gram

not mutch more than 52 gram with the w-w-w if u trail ride ..its a try a error u will need to try and fine tune for the helix ....for the 8dn-20 i don't think its a good helix choice
