We failed in our back to back to back 500 mile days trip last March. It rained on our parade, and we didn't even get 1000 miles total. We did get up close and personal with some wildlife though, including a large moose. Not as in moose are large, but this was actually a very large moose.

Yeah, I do remember the rain last season up there. I made a trip to Silver City and the trails from Bingos to the lake was pretty much bare ground. I had just baught brand new pair of C@A pro skis prior to the trip. OUCH.

I cooked a belt crossing the lake south of Missinabie. Belt slipped so much I had to stop and dry it off. Setting in almost a foot of water on top of ice out in the middle of a lake is kinda weird.
