how many people live in the town there..??The City Council here just banned sled riding on the out skirts of the Winnipeg within the Perimeter Hwy that goes around the City.In other words if your property here backs on to the Perimeter Hwy..you can't just ride out your yard, down the ditch and along the Hwy and then connect to a trial. This is all because some kid was sledding outside the area between the back yards of homes and the Hwy.He came around a corner and hit a guy who was just out for a walk.Of course the guy that was hit died and then this law came in. They now want to create staging area where sledders can come haul their sleds to and then are allowed to run a designated trial to the Hwy and out. There are even reports in some districts guys are sledding down City Streets her.I am lucky I don't live in the City, just 7 km's South of it and can just ride out from my place and go anywhere.

Well snowmageton hit and the 15cm this moring is maybe 1 looking at it and its also raining now. The weather man is the only occupation where you can be consistantly way off and wrong and still be employed.
No chance of anything and the shovel won't even be required with the snow gone of the driveway and black pavement showing most everywhere.
Blue must have re routed the cloud for another dumping in his back yard. Just to be sure he'll be crusing on snow this spring.

good morning all!! It is very nasty out today..snowing a liitle and heavy North winds,,wind chills in the -30 range..not that great for riding in...but the blowing snow will fill in areas now,so riding tomorrow should be great but still on the cold side.We are still going to ride even in the cold.We may have up to May 5th and from there it looks like it will be warming up finally.Short riding season never the less.

Blah blah blah. What are you talking about??? It was great a Friday. Got 180 miles on the sleds. Trails were fantastic considering the low snow conditions we have had all year. Over a foot of snow on the lakes and rivers. Perfect day for Riding.

We trailered out to Lac Du Bonnet on Thursday. Drove the trails out there and went into the Whiteshell on Friday. Saturday we went and pounded the 2' of powder in the ditches on the way to the mighty Red River. Played on the Red and Rat until the fuel light went on and then came back home.

Yep. That is the hydro station in Seven(Twisted) Sisters.Went thru another trail that was barely 6 feet wide with the snow laden pine trees lining the trail with the bows full of snow hanging over the trail creating a very cool tunnel effect at night.
