Blown cylinder (photos) srx 700

Hey guys, so i talked to a Yamaha guy i know and he figures since i ran some 87 octane, that might be the culprit, i still haven't touched the sled or the carbs, i was putting a bit of octane booster since the one gas station on the trail that i filled up all the time only had regular

he saying change all three pistons and rings, i was thingking since i have a spare piston head and jug from a parts sled, that i would just change all the rings with oem rings and call it a day, he said dont bother changing the crank seals or bearing if you dont need to,

at royal distribution up in ontario they have kimpex and wiseco pistons, i heard and read kimpex is bad for out sleds, their 98 $ a piston and 30 a set of rings, wiseco is 370$ for a kit rings and piston and needle bearing i think also, not sure if their any better,

anyways, just seeing if anyone wanted to chime in

You need to tear down before you come up with a plan. Appears mag cylinder/jug/piston is okay, all center is junk, I myself wouldnt reuse pto piston, pto jug maybe, depending on what it looks like. If pto jug is good you could buy 1 used oem piston, new rings, gaskets and crankcase seals. case seals are cheap enough that it would pointless to put back together with old ones. Alot of ifs. Tear it apart, asess the situation and make a plan from there. If crank is shot it wont matter what kind of piston you buy, you should look for a used running motor.
