It appears that the sled I bought is in fact a 1994, not a 1996 like the previous owner told me or like the registration stated and here's my dilemma. I was swapping out my track and removed the chaincase and input shaft to find that the splines on the input shaft and the jackshaft are long since fatigued and in need of replacement. What all is needed to swap in the newer(95-96) jackshaft? My sled already has the '95+ secondary on it. I'm growing tired of finding all the little half assed things that were done to this to just get it down the trail.
I really need some help on this one. If i have to buy a whole chaincase and secondary shaft I will but It would be awesome if you guys came back and said the single piece shaft works in place of the 2 piece.
Please HELP!!
