You're going to need some carb cleaner in a can for sure. Do you have access to an air compressor? I've never used it but some of the compressed air would probably work. Hopefully the jets and small fuel/air holes in the carb body are not clogged up too bad. Wear safety glasses and spray into every orifice you can and make sure it comes out somewhere. IF the pilot jets are clogged, try the carb cleaner and air. If that doesn't work I have used a thin piece of wire to clean it out. Do not alter the size of the holes. You should be able to see a nice round hole when they are clean.
Make sure you have the right size phillips screwdriver to remove the float bowl screws also, since they can strip out fairly easy. Really the floats should be removed but atleast spray cleaner into the inlet elbows (where you took your fuel lines off) hold the carb rack right side up and make sure there is cleaner flowing out where the inlet needle is. Do you know anyone who has mechanical knowledge who can help you?
