Carbs need to be cleaned every year now! No exceptions.

So I just spent the better part of 5 hrs trying to get my sled going. Boy do I love having gas all over the place. What I thought was a lack of fuel issue turned out to be a whole new can of worms. Sled was running on two cylinders. I thought it was the pilot but after cleaning it like 10 times I finally got the hint to look else where. I removed plug and put in an older blackend one. once I did it was easier to see I was getting plenty of fuel,in fact too much fuel. I kept checking float but needle and everything was moving freely. (Not hanging or sticking). After I removed the float and pulled out the plunger I'm pretty confident I solved my problem :ban: .Rubber part of the plungers that makes the seal is torn. It threw me off because when I would blow through gas inlet tube and push on the float it would seal but I'm pretty sure that it was flooding that cylinder because of being torn the seal wouldn't work right with just the float pushing on it. I've got my fingers crossed. I'm hoping I can find one at the dealer but I'm sure they will have to order one. :o|

I don't get the tapioca balls or the yellow slime, I usually get a white fuzzy mold looking substance. As far as my chainsaws goes VP makes premixed quarts you can buy from Baileys called SEF. Guaranteed to have no ethanol, they are 94 octane and you can choose 40:1 or 50:1. I bought a case and run it the last couple tanks before I store them for the winter. Same with my trimmer.
