Viper high idle problem

you can absolutely keep those in there. you just are going to need to lighten up the weights or you're not going to pull the correct rpm. you are already going from 145+ hp back down to 120ish. if you dont get it to pull correct rpm you will be even lower on hp.

I was trying to see if it had some weight marking on them but I didn't see anything. How do I know what weight I should be running with this kit?

you may get lucky though if your taking off one of the triples that ran at a higher rpm than stock. maybe you'll be close to stock rpm with the lower hp trying to pull those weights

you change the weight by changing those allen bolts you saw. there are different size bolts as well as washers you can add and remove to get your rpms where they need to be. best thing is to try it and see where your rpms are and go from there. like i said above maybe you'll get lucky. I think all the pipes except Benders ran at a higher rpm than stock so maybe with the less HP you have now it wont be too far from where you need be.

Where should the rpms be on take off and shifting?Sorry about asking so many questions from everybody but the more I Learn the more questions I have so thanks to everyone that helped.

85-8600 rpms is what i'm thinking on a stock Viper. might want to try asking mrviper. I'm sure he can get you spot on with those heelclickers first try. He has a lot more experience with them than I do
