96 vmax 600 primary problem

WEIRD..posts 11-19 werent there when I started typing post 20....? "has a little play on the shaft" It should have some side to side play.
 
Once I tightened the retaining bolt every thing seems fine again. The clutch is tight, turns the motor over every time, has absolutely no wobble.

How much? If its less than 1/4 -3/16 of inch I wouldnt mess with it. Any more than that you should look into why? Jack shaft should have little to no side to side, secondary should slide on jackshaft a little bit. You need a lil for the secondary to self adjust so to speak.
 
Oh I would say way less that a 1/4 inch maybe at most an 1/8" I would say around a 1/16" without measuring it.
