you know for what its worth your push button start idea sounds right on. Turn on the key and push the button. Wouldnt be hard to wire with some testing. Heck you can bridge the two positive ends with a screwdriver and make it start. LOL! Not ideal but you know what i mean. To me doing your seperate starter sounds easier then a whole new harness. THose must not have come with a prewired e start. HMMMM
