and again, you dont run 8800rpm on a stock srx cdi box....yes, you can spin up to 8700 but higher and your losing power as the box is beginning retarding timing. Secondly, you dont have enuff tip weight in it like i listed so your running 8800 instead of 8700 like your supposed to, see you just DONT follow whats listed....

don't be mad at it don ...it was just a try and error day ...for sure I could add more tip weight ...but all motor doesn't make the same hp ...and that motor need to stay in the 8700 range nothing lower ...only like to show the result didn't say nothing about your advise ;)! ...it seem to be a pretty aggressive set up ..

cause its ported blue ...went u raised the exhaust port its like adding a bigger cam in a car motor ..u need to spin the motor higher to get is maximum power ....8500 8600 the motor run flat and meuhhhhhhhhhhh has soon u touch the 8700 range woohoooo hold your hand lollll.....
 
mod how can your ported motor not pull 52 grams???Mine is not ported and I am running a total of 53.8 grams y-w-y 47 helix at 80 and was reving to 8600 wot.With w-w-w- ran 8350-8400 wot.
 
put a 54-46 on it and let me know what will happened ..first your wrap at 80 and your raving only 8300-8400...maybe I could I didn't try it ..but I still need to stay higher than 8600......u should try vs other srx sometime it feel like it pull but it doesn't ...try to be kneck to kneck with a thundercat 1000 and let me know loll...I know that thunder need some clutching but im still in is running board till 90 mph loll
 
stop racing and just ride mod...always someone out there that is faster.Maybe ytou need one of these 1000 motors ..V4 with 200 plus HP..that will beat that Cat..lol

im not trying to beat the cat ...i just race vs him to see the gain or loss in clutching..we are good friend and have fun tuning and trying together ;)!

thnx don for the set up ...it does run amazing for trail ride didn't do mutch top end not the perfect condition for it ..like u said I need to put more weight to drop the rpm now I should listen at start lolll ...
