How much would you expect going from a 15mm to 16mm, or even 15.6mm would raise the engagement on a xtc 500. It already has a primary spring with a slightly higher preload and stock weights. This pushed it from about 3900 engagement to about 4300 engagement. I already have the max amount of engagement springs installed. Would you expect 15 to 16 be a small like 100 - 200 rpms or something more dramatic like 400 to 500 rpms. I want to get a set to play with but I am not sure if I want to try the 15.6s first or go straight to the 16s. I know it will have some effect on the rest of the range but I will compensate if need be. If you look at an old dyno chart on this site you can see why it is a struggle to get these things to take off very hard. They have very little power on the low end. Any experience would be appreciated.
