bolt size to pull clutch w water method?

If I understand this method correctly, you remove the clutch bolt, put the sled on its side, fill the hole with water and tighten a teflon tape wrapped bolt until it pops off. Question is what size bolt must be used? Also, what size bolt for a polaris primary. I have to pull a yamaha and polaris clutch.

Use the clutchbolt.
 
The clutch bolt won't work it screws into the crank and won't create the hydraulic effect I use my clutch puller along with water, works like a champ.
