Most mechanics wouldn't fess up even if they did forget something leading to sled dead on the trail. Was just another possibility.

well I picked up the sled and ran it hard for about an hour - using oil normally...ran well.
He charged me $100 - for dragging me out of the woods (about 5 hours time) then trying to diagnose the issue - at least 4 hours.......so all in all I am OK with that!
Will do some runs this weekend and see how she goes......
