Yamaha vmax 600 gyt pipes carb specs?

Ok so last thing, what exhaust bracket do they say we need that comes with the kit for the gyt pipes? Any pics?

The only thing im still not 100% sure about is the eBay listing I posted for the nozzles. Not sure if that part number is a q8 100%. Would need someone to confirm.

Anyone have clutch specs for a 94 vmax 600 with gyt pipes? What holes should the secondary be put in?

Ya so in that link I see the attached photos from the book say to run 153.8 main jets. And another guy says he was running 155 mains? So which do I use?

Also I forgot to ask what pilots do I use? I know in the link someone said he was running 52 pilots. But I dont know if that's correct.

As for clutch specs for a 94 600, I didn't see anything. Unless it was in the chart you posted up, but I can't read it.

back in the day Yamaha's clutch set up for these pipes was very poor and did not work well, they needed a high engagement but they did not sell springs stiff enough to do it, we machined the covers and spiders to use Polaris springs that worked for a time but the covers eventually broke, the best set up I used was a cat 9 tower clutch with adjustable weights and a red EPI spring spin at 8300, do not lean the mid any it will burn down!!! 92 or better octane and would run boost as well as we all know the quality of gas now days.

I was hoping to try and make this work with the original clutches. If anything I would upgrade to 95 vmax clutches.

And can anyone confirm what the q8 part numbers are?

I'm looking at this pic. I notice in the third picture it shows this is how to set the needle to 2.5. They have the clip in the 3 slot, and a washer above and below. If that pic is right, wouldn't that make it a 3.5 setting? Not a 2.5? I would think the for 2.5 the clip should be in 2 slot with a washer above and below right? What's your opinion?

Ok well I finally got the pipes on but I'm still running stock clutches. It feels like I actually lost power from the engine. It doesn't accelerate well. Bogs a lot. Plugs are a nice tan color. Just feels like a lot less power I heard someone say I needed a higher angle helix and stiffer sping. Does anyone know exactly what parts I would need? I have a 94 but I'm considering swapping clutches with a 95. I think they are better? Anyone have 95 clutch specs?
