how many sleds are in your fleet?

A previous Yamaha mechanic maintains them mostly. I do some work myself, mostly clutch work.

oh that's a great trail! you can average 100 no problem if its groomed, or play in the powder on the sides for miles!
 
true lol. last year was the 1st time I had time to play in there while waiting on crewcheif and company on the Ontario ty ride. we are doing it again this season. date is looking to be feb 2nd weekend if any want to come.
 
So far 5 sleds, ALL Yamaha:
1. 2000 SRX with a brand-new engine. Soon to have a complete restoration down to very nut and bolt.
2. 2000 SRX which I bought used and am doing a complete restoration. It will look like an 02 SRX when done.
3. 1994 VMAX-4 750 with 10,000 awesome, fun-filled, trouble free miles on it. I am going to update it with some of the components from a 1995 VMAX-4 800 sled
4. 1993 Exciter II. Gave this sled to my son so he can have fun with my grand kids
5. 2003 RX-1 with 13,000 miles. Overall decent sled but the SRX is my all-time favorite. Needs a set of engine rings to reduce oil consumption. I used this sled on the long distance saddlebag trip in Quebec.
6. Currently looking at a 2014 Apes SE or XTX. This will be my long distance sled.

Fortunately I enjoy working on the sleds as much and at times more than riding them.

Just counted and I have 6.

it's a yammy!!!!

there's 4 here.1 is mine,a 99 & her's is 01 sxr 7,then my son's 98 srx.then i just picked up a 83 vmax from a buddy that's been in storage for about 15 yrs + or - a yr really don't know.it's got the aaen pipe's on it.it still in the old traktor trailer.the motor is blown but all there. to much going on right now to bring home.so i have 2 sleds now.i need a vmax-4 in time.:yam: like :bling:
 
5. long track bravo, venture 500, sx 600, sx 700, rx warrior. (Had and exciter 2 and phazer 2 but they are sold)

lost one and gained 6-1/2 more lol.

kirkswim sold the viper but added a project phazer II to the fleet.

brother, couchrider, added a nos 2013 rs venture gt to the fleet.

dad added my grandmothers 1979 gs340 to the fleet as she just celebrated her 90th birthday in her new adress at the nursing home.


then i added 1 1988 et400 t/r, 1 1989 et400 t/r and 2 377 safaris 1988 one of witch is missing the carb. the et's are going to end up at couch riders camp for the kids to learn on. all the yammys do run but i need to weld the steering post on the 89 as it sheared the end off. got all 4 for $400.00 with ownership's.
 
had to fix a hood that was cracked and completely off, seat, evict a few mice, carb clean 4 times, clean tank fix some chewed wires and a few other things. odometer says is only has 1000km on it. by the condition of most of the parts... it may be true. looks like some one hit something and parked it.photo 1.jpgphoto 2.jpgphoto 3.jpgphoto 4.jpg
