Carbs done.
All new jetting,needle and seats, o rings, ect.
New jetting is 160 mains, 47.5 pilots, FS 1 7/8, needle 3.5, now vented to airbox.

Honestly, i just made sure they were clean, never gave the wear any thought.
Maybe I should take a closer peek.
 
I can’t recall, i think around 6500.
I may have another set of viper carbs somewhere.
But would be unknown miles on them also.
 
Back at working on the Viper S.
Removed 12 lbs of studs.
Also found a black windshield finally.

Has come to my attention, rear suspension has zero dampening left.
Found a good set of long travel shocks, they still had pressure in them but not much.
Had them recharged locally to 284PSI.
Starting tear out of rear suspension to replace shocks.

Well, guess it's a good thing I pulled suspension. W arm is busted, center idler axel was busted, limiter straps were WAY sucked up too tight, bushings all shot, ect...
Full redo coming up on it...

Right on. I've welded so many of those arms over the years. Terrible design there.
Looking good though, nice work.
 
Suspension completely gone through.
New bushings, recharged shocks, reset lengths of limiter straps, springs ect.
New hyfax and all wheels.
Took parts from 2 different skids, but got it done. Lol

Also had the track and drive axel out.
All new bearings and seals in chain case and speedo bearing. Checked drive wheel spacing, all was good.
