New to me toy.

Guess it's finally time to store my boat! ;-)

We don't have any white stuff covering the ground, yet, but when I finished my motorcycle ride yesterday, we were getting snow flurries. Winter's coming :letitsnow

Also noticed nasty reed stuffer overlap over the carb boot. I'll be fixing that!

Just to remind everyone to update your old scary weak galvanized reed stoppers to new stronger stainless ones. It's not worth the risk!

Well things have been slow. It's been 17 days since my order with Partzilla and I'm still waiting for my stainless reed stoppers and screws. Anxious to get everything back together and test run it on the stand..

Cleaned up my reed stuffers. No more sharp edges overlapping in the transition from carb boot to reeds stuffers.

Also I'm trying to work out a deal with a Co worker for a very low mileage Apex Helix! Hopefully things workout.

Finally received my new stainless reed stoppers. Carefully notched and sanded them smooth. Reinstalled everything with locktight.

Picked up this sweet super low mileage Apex Helix for 50$ from my Co worker. He ran it for 500km before upgrading everything to aftermarket. The bushing still looks brand new!
