hey guys, been looking for drivers still and been finding that people have put on kimpex anti ratchets, but i can't seem to find them anywhere, from pics it looks like the take off the otters and push them up against the centers and thats it, actually MM800 has something like what i keep seeing, does anyone have a part number for these? View attachment 58929 also, can't find a 2 inch paddle for a decent price so i picked up a 136 1.5 paddle, do i still need to go 8 tooth with the anti ratchets?
you can't put a narrow front end on a wide stance pro action and use your long shocks. sorry but they just don't fit. the arms won't drop enough to even bolt the shock on. the steering tie rods bind well before you get enough down travel. I found this out the hard way last winter when trying to put viper shocks on my mountain max
IDK about viper shocks, maybe they are a 40" stance not a 38. My SRX has been narrowed and still uses the wide front shocks. My 99 uses shocks off an XTC with no problems either...................SRXtreme
okay, i have been told oyu can just used the radius rods and tie rods with stock shocks, if i gotta find a set of shocks now the wifes going to be pissed haha, have another question, where im extending it out, i need a tunnel extension but do i just put one on and that's that, or do i need to mount a different cooler. It's just to a 136 so hoping i can keep stock cooling system, it's a mtn sled on a budget lol. wish i could get more parts from the states cause of the price, but right now with the dollar so low somethings that is $200 USD comes to 274 lol. it was -2 c (28 f) here two nights ago so probably looking at an early winter want to get everything done.
Ya, but it would cost me almost 3 for those because of the exchange rate, I just want to know if I can use mountain mac radius arms and tie rods on a vmax, some people say you can and you said I cant, don't have the parts yet to tryI picked up those viper mtn shocks off eBay for $100 2 years ago. They were take offs from a parts sled. the seller said they had under 2000 miles on them. by the looks of them when they showed up I wouldn't question it.
