Thanks, really hoping it perks up. Gonna be a different sled with the new track.

Got a 121x1.325 cobra lined up. Gonna be a vast improvement over stock.

Your going to love your Cobra track. That track completely transformed my Venture.

Went through the skid. All the bearings are smooth as silk. Drive shaft bearings and all the chain case bearings in great shape. New set of slides and I can put the skid back in. Doesn't really need slides but I figure new track should have new slides.

So does anyone know if the tuner skis from a 2015 viper can be mounted to this sled?

I've not done it, but I know people who have.

So was getting everything out back together last night and I think I found my problem with mid range stumble. PTO side spark plug had a huge crack in the porcelain. Such a piss off. They were changed before the start of last season. So I never looked to close at them when I was trying to sort it out. I swapped plugs with some fresh ones for this year. Guess we will see when the snow flys.

Just be careful with the viper skis. They will bolt up no problem. I put them on my 97 SX and had to change the pro action arms as the viper skis sit 1.5" lower than my stockers, so to change the skis I also had to change the arms and the ski post to compensate for the height difference. It all worked out great. Just make sure that your pro action arm length is the same as the ski donor or you will have to do the same.
Cheers

Are you talking about Sr viper skis? The skis I got came off a 2015 viper XTX.

yes I was talking about sr viper skis. lots of pivit room compared to the sx viper skis. I have used both on same sled. sr handles better so far.

Well, got it all back together. Just got to shine it up and wait for snow. I'll post a few finished pics once it's shiny.
