I posted a thread regarding a very unfortunate incident that happened to a friend of mine who died when he rode his Yamaha Viper into open water in the dark last weekend.
He leaves a loving wife and 4 young children ages 1 to 6 years of age who now need all the help and prayers they can get to help overcome their loss...
I called Ben's wife tonight to let her know that there are caring people on this Yamaha website praying for her and her family. She was deeply moved by the fact there are people praying for her and her kids who she doesn't even know. I explained to her that I don't know anyone either, but TY is truly like a family on it's own and consists of people who care.....not just about sleds.
I was asked to post a Trust fund by a fellow TY'er and with the blessing of Ben's wife here it is:
Cheques payable to:
Trust for Bjorkman Family
Send donations to:
Scotia Bank
Dowling Branch
Dowling Plaza
Box 99
Dowling, Ontario
Canada
P0M 1W0
I hope we all can make a donation no matter how small...it's the thought that counts. I will let everyone know how she makes out..
