Kids on sleds
It is all about the family for us (mostly). My wife rides and our four kids enjoy it. I bought my son a Polaris 120 last year and he has riden that thing into the ground. It's full throttle or stopped, no in between. A few weeks ago we went on a family trip and my youngest daughter (2 1/2) wanted to ride. She tried on big brother's sled for size. I started running along side her with the safety tether in my hand but had to keep stopping. When I would pull the chord she would tell me to start it again. I had to devise away she could just ride. I tied the tether to a longer line and followed along next to her in a big open field. She did great. She tried to go up the hill in the video. No fear what so ever. Won't be long before she's on her own. Here's the video.

Thought I'd post a few pix of my Mountain max here as asked.
The "me" pic, was taken late winter here in the Western Upper Peninsula of Michigan as I craled out of a hell of a ravine near the Baraga Plains (in case anyone is familiar with the area).
Img 2932 was taken the first week of April when the area was pelted with five-feet-plus of snow during a five-day period. Local sledheads were in heaven as most had put their sleds in the garage for some post-season maintenance.
Mmax3 was taken after I got the sled delivered from Colorado. Gotter off ebay just going on pix and the seller's good word. Just goes to show that deals can be had on the greatest garage sale in the world site!

Maxx99, what throtle cables and brake line did you use? I just ordered a Ole's 6'' riser for 1.125'' dirtbike fatbars for my 97mm and should have about the rise you do on yours.

Got mine from Canadian distributing. Will need longer Throttle and oil pump cables. Went with a newer Yamaha cable, but would suggest if you can get the longer onces from Mountain performance. Had to re-route mine thru my airbox to make it work.

Gravity Worx makes an extended throttle and oil cable.
It look slick. I put on a 5.5" rox riser and just rerouted my stock cables.

We found it in the mountains that way. It might have broken down the weekend prior. We left it. There are a few machines out there left in the glacier crevasses throughout the state.SXlover said:What the heck happened to the lower left sled? Looks like somebody buried it with a shovel. LOL

Anybody notice the seat cover? It is spray on bedliner! The trunk flap is cardboard.
