Okay guys, seriously considering getting these pipes for several reasons. The main reason for these pipes would be the weight savings. The second reason for these pipes would be keeping the performance of the stock pipes or possibly more power. Third would be the sound (not to important). Lastly would be the fact that I could ceramic coat them and make them look as good as the stockers.
I am truly going off what I am being told about these pipes so please let me hear the facts. The reason I mention these pipes is because from what I have read, they are the only pipes that actually don't lose HP on the SRX and actually increase HP. Is this true and does anyone have any experience on this. How does bottom end, midrange, and topend of these pipes compare to the stockers.
Also, what jetting goes along with these pipes and what are the target RPM for these Pipes?
How do the pipes sound?
Lastly, what is the approximate weight savings of these pipes? If unknown, please just let me know what the pipes weigh all together.
And please, the more discriptive and accurate you are with the information, the more I thank you. I just want to hear the fact so I know what I am dealing with. Anything else that I forgot to ask about these pipes, please include as I am dying to obtain information about them. Thanks

i don't know much about the pipes, but have also heard they are the only pipes that gain hp (other than big bore pipes in conjunction with heavy porting or a big bore) but i do know that their silencer is the only one that gains horsepower (1-2 i believe) and loses weight. looks alot like the stock one but very slim. thats all i know.

ithink srxtreme has them, not srxxtreem
There was a set I almost but last winter from someone on here but he sold them to someone else then they had them for sale they might still have them try doing a search in the classafieds.

It seems to be difficult to find info on them because few people have them. I am trying to figure it all out so I can decide the benfits to it. Anyone one who knows anything about these pipes please chime in. Thanks

here is another angle. How about contacting the manufacture and ask them if they would be intrested in allowing you to demo them. State the fact that you guys are an aftermarket performace shop and such........
like my dad told me back in the day I was finding out about the girls. "you'll never get kissed unless you ask" LOL

monty, i hope you didn't ask! haha, just givin you a hard time man! unfortuneatly power inc is no longer in business. what you could do tho as the next best thing matt, is either borrow a set of the pipes, or get the dimensions of the pipes and have someone like jaws or neils build you a set. power inc's for a srx are pretty rare these days.

Anytime I can call and get facts, I normally do but in this case, I have to gather all this information then people can bug me about info on the pipes. Really interested in them!

A friend of mine has a set on his 98 SRX 700. They perform really well but have one downfall. The pipes sit very, very close to the hood and have melted a hole in his hood. Maybe they can be modified to sit lower. Just thought you should know that fact so it wouldn't happen to yours.

DUDE, I NEVER USED THEIR PIPES, BUT DID HAVE THEIR CAN ON MY 2000 SRX. IT SEEMED TO WORK GOOD, BUT I DECIDED TO GO WITH STOCK CAN. NOW I KNOW THIS IS NOT YOUR QUESTION, BUT IT SEEMS TO ME THEIR TRIPLE PIPES WORKED BEST ON THEIR BIG BORES. MIGHT BE WRONG THOUGH !! 3:16 (tony)

I have a set of ceramic coated POWER INC pipes and have not tried them....a guy in Sweden...HAMMER or something like that dynoed them and yes they make more power. If you are still interested in them let me know....the guy I bought them from told me that all said and done after coating them the were in the neighbourhood of $1000.
He told me they fit as well as the stockers...perhaps the guy who burnt a hole in the hood didn't have his ceramic coated?

LOL, one expensive thing at a time. lol If you want me to get a hood too, you guys are gonna have to buy more stuff.lol
I have my eye on a set right now and I am closing the deal. They are in perfect shape and I am gonna go for it. Dad already agreed to it I think! For right now I have to concentrate on the greys lake show. Then the pipes. I am soooo excited! I will let you guys know how they work out and everything. I will soon be an information center for these pipes. The hood will have to be put on hold even though it would be sweet and my sled would be light as H***. A translucent blue on the entire hood so I still have a blue but you can see all the pretty work under the hood too. good ideas. Not enough money though.

You gonna get them ceramic coated??? Black pipes next to all that chrome under the hood just wouldn't look right.

ceramakote the inside so you can chrome the outside and not have it "blue" on you

sxviper I might be reading it wrong but don't ceramic coat the inside of the pipes I have seen a 8hp loss doing that according to the dyno.

I am not sure what I am gonna do with them yet. I know if I chrome them, they are gonna turn a bluish color. I am definitely considering ceramic coating them. We will have to see. How many of you would be interested in a set of pipes made identical to these? Let me know, we might be able to do this. Thanks
