My sympathy goes out to you srx guys. Now that there is a vmax4 category on TY, you are no longer top dog! Feeling "blue", are you?

I know what the manuals say etc. however when you actually get them both on a scale ready to race...not much difference.

ANSWER " WE BEAT EVERYBODYs 800 WITH A 700 '' . true storie

Easier and cheaper to manufacture a 4 valve head vs 5.Macheater said:Spoken like a TRUE company man. I wonder if that same rep can tell everybody why after decades of running the 5 valve engine on most of their high-performance and race 4-strokes why they chose to abandon it in favor of a more conventional 4 valve arrangement.

jabber800 said:Now on the v-max4 to SRX comparison. Both are great sleds! In factory stock condition I would choose the SRX performance wise. Style I love the look of the v-max 4 and the srx. Sound goes to the v max 4. Over all winner in my books? I couldn't choose one or the other. I love them both!
