2002 SRX now sitting in my garage...Bluemonster2

The Tach from a 98 SRX won't work in the 2002 models,single to dual headlight,different voltage or something I am told.So ModMax thanks anyways
Hey hookedonblue,you think black over a blue windy.Eventually I will change to one and also get new ski's .But for now all I really need to do is get the Tach going again.I will have to save my money for cosmetic items and put them on in the summer or fall time.

nice man! glad you went with one of the newer ones, lots of good updates! leave it low slung and take out the sxr when the trails are rough. low slung is better top speed and handling! looks great, now get a low windshield and run the hell out of it lol!

i long traveled mine and like it way more than stock put a 1.25'' predator on it and she hooks up really good get a blue light cover for it also makes it look really good riding in daylight.

I may be in the minority here but get that high windshield off that,it just doesn't look right.Put a Cobra on there and you'll be just about as warm.

If $$$ is an issue you can always cut your stock windy down and paint it.

mulderdad,I went and painted the windy for the heck of it until I get my new COBRA windy.Not to shabby,works for temp.Now I got 2 blue windies,Shorter one for warmer days and taller one for cooler days.

In -36 windchill weather I do not think I will be removing the shield for now.Looks better then clear for now.Will get my new one next week if I am lucky.Suck on it....your mouth won't stick to it.LOL

No PV thing yet.First I need to fix my Tach to see what the rpm,s are running.It sounds like my idle rpm is a little high to.I am not to sure about the power valves,so I am not touching them for now,don't want to screw something up now,just want to drive.

I took my tach out and all wires seem ok.If you look at a wiring diagram of it,the fuel meter Br wire is the same as Br wire on tach.The tach light L(blue) wire is the same as the blue wire on the tach.And the B (black) wires are the same on light and the tach.So if power is going thru for light and fuel meter,then the actual tach unit must be faulty.
