I wonder what would be the best thing to do.
I am living at 50meters above sea level and have a tent camp at 1000meters where we use to stay 2-3 days every time we go there..
So what would be the best thing to do if I want my sled at the best in that altitude: turning my fuel screws a turn out, or change the jetts at arrival? will some mods in the airbox help?
Yea, I have a sx700r -01 with psi-pipes

You have to rejet or you will hate your sled. I use an ATAAC or ATACC (can't ever remember which is right) and it works good. compensates for altitude and temp. I also use remote fuel screw adjusters.

always jet for the coldest temps and lowest altitude you will be riding. if you forget to "rejet" on the way down the hill, it will run lean and mr. squeeky will come for an expensive visit. most jetting charts are set up 0-3000 feet, so with your camp is just slightly above 3000. personally i wouldnt mess with it for that type of riding. now if you were to ride higher on a regular basis, it would be looking into adjusting the mains.

a wise man once told me tune for 90% of your riding, the other 10%, just deal with it.

you wont get earth shattering performance gains by jetting to the ragged edge, just the chance to join the "i burnt my sled down playing with the jetting" group.

just my .02 ski

hmm.. too expensive! Takes only 15min to change the mains, I think I'll just try changing them when I'm up there. But how low can I go??? 145, 147? And do I have to do something more with the airbox? have borred alot of holes in it allready

don't forget your neddle jets. 1/4 to 3/4 jetting.
ATACC is a little pricey but it is kind of like one of those rotisserie ovens
on TV
SET IT AND FORGET IT.

OK, guess I'm the only one here that can't afford an attac(450-500$ in norway)!!! :( But will it help if I gave it some more air( modding the airbox some more) Isn't the reason its so rich that the air is thinner at 1000moh??

If you do that, you're still going to have to change your jetting with altitude. More air will make your mixture leaner at low elevation.
