For 31 thet are assuming the cg of the boxes are the same. So it does not really matter where the lever arm is measure wrt the box

The increased flow in the venturi does indeed drop the pressure inside the smaller section of tube which allows the first tube to raise farther than the second one. We did this as a science experiment some 30 years ago.

Well I wasn't sure if I should take the test and find out that I don't know as much as I thought I did considering I haven't really been employed as a mechanic other than my back yard and I got 410\82% which I am quite pleased and a little re-assured. I guess I will continue to destroy..oops I mean work on mine and other peoples stuff.
