srx being very slow..need some help

Alrite well im getting pretty depressed here!!!

Took out my sled today on a freshly groomed trail... sled barely hit 140 n took one hell of a long time to hit it!

Reving is fine idle is fine sounds fine but as fast as a sloth!!

Took it out a week ago belt was loose clutch was too heavy max rpm was 7k and i hit 160km/h. sucks but ok i knew the cluth wasnt completely tuned

Bring it in get the clutch lightend so rpm hits 8300 and climbs to 8500rpm bring it to mississipi lake to do some lake riding I though it was ok since i was driving on around 4-5 feet hitting around 120 in louse snow figure ok its explanable with that much snow i guess...

Tonite first time taking it on a nicely groomed trail and to be left dissapointed yet again.

what could be makin it so slow!

I know i dont got the greatest primary and i know i loose power from cans but i mean only to a certain extent! it dont make sense to me how i lighten the primary to make it properly rev n loose soo much accel and speed!

I need some help here any sugestions!

keep the ideas coming

uhm primary is brand spanks not even a full month on it... secondary is pretty clean and i got a brand spanks belt on it.. (broken in)

Power valve cable problem that you tuned the clutch around? Maybe you pulled a PV through and lightened the clutch, RPMs go up even though your engine isn't running properly??

Is it possible while the engine runs properly?

the only thing thats getting butcherd on the sled is the speed/accell

I was thinking it could be a pv but though the pv would effect the rpm as well if pulled through or something close to that so i would think...

theres no problems with the engine as far as i kno...

Ok.. how would i do that? its in a tempo outside take long to do? ill bring it in my dads Garage to check if i have to..

Is there a quick easy way?

Any harm in driving it right now if they are pulled?

NO, engine didn't run fine, I can speak for troy I would think, his engine was down on RPMs and power, so he checked them, they were his problem...

Pull it in the garage, those 3 cables you see by the exhaust pipes? Those housings are likely where your problem is at.

EDIT..I'm not going to explain to you how to do it, it is a fairly simple thing to check. I don't want someone to blame me for a mistake they made...that's all.
Power valves are really easy to check (maintain)...

hmm ok... ever hear of a engine runnin good with a pull through valve?

Im just askin this cause its minus 20 outside and pitch black.. if its not possible for an engine to run properly with messed up valves would def save me from freezin my a** off outside..
