In all seriousness, this could happen anywhere. It really is a shame it happend here though. We have already had like 9 people die while sledding this year. Us sledders don't need any more bad press.
I get PO'd at our few year old new night time 50mph speed limit on the trails. Stuff like this happening only will want more rules and regulations to be made. The reason I enjoy sledding is that there are very few special rules for sledders. Basically, don't drink and ride, don't speed through towns that have a limit (even night time limits), and keep on the right side of the trail, and stop for traffic/ stop signs. After that, it's all common sense.
Apparently common sense is not so common anymore.
