well I tested the antifreeze and I am good for -37 C. Ran the sked at idle and took res. cap off, water is moving..so thermastate is open and pump is working. I am re-bleeding the whole system as my next step. And mod,I remember touching the head out there, and I wasn't burning my fingers right off. It's a nice day to ride,so after bleeding entire system I will go have another kick at it...lol. One thing good today, when I removed the seat..I found one of my screwdrivers I was looking for under the gas tank.

hey blue my sled was overheating during weekend ride look what i found... happy it **** on my return ride

what the hell happened there mod.You think I should check mine then.

dunno what happend but almost get stuck with that crap thermostat ... it was overheating dammit .... atleast its not major

how's your snow situation these days. Our snow is hard, but still can ride if I pick the right side of the roadway where snow has blown in about 3-4 inches.I can pin it for a mile at a time without a problem along the roadway. The River isn't to bad, seen alot of sled tracks that got caught in the slush and had to pin it to get out.I know there was some open water,so I am hesitant to go far on River.PUT ON 40 MILES OF DITCH BANGING WITH MY 600 YESTURDAY AND SHE IS GOING STRONG YET. ;)!

mod -thats the second time i see that (01 srx) , the one i seen screwed up the housiing .
seen that many times. if you get it hot enuf to make the temp light flash the thermostat will try to open so much that it busts its self apart. done three like that in my 98' in low snow conditions.

and about snow not mutch left..trail are almost like ice just a little cover of snow but really really hard .....we need snow soon soon

we got about 1/2" of fluff last night. It is foggy out and horror frost on trees. It is really nice out.Ran the little 600 this morning really hard, mostly ditchbanging.Sled sounds cool with the SNO-STUFF Can on board to.I just pin this little 600 all the time.Cluching is good, clutches are cool. Was doing some driveway jumps along the service road.Man can I ever get that sled air-borne.Was taking some of them at 60 mph and just flew, landed pretty good except one time.landed hard on the front end,but all is good.Trail is hard for sure, but have my ice scratchers deployed full time.I just can't ride this sled at slow speed, must always be pinned to the bars..I love taking the bumps, hitting the drifts. Was going to attempt jumping some round straw bales in the field where the snow drifted off,but chickened out there.Got almost 11,000 km's on it and it doesn't disappoint me yet.Started in 2 pulls this morning also..can't complain. ;)!

hey modsrx....see pictures in the pic section....me and harness racer...come on down next weekend....great trails and radar races as well.!!!

Did 300 km this week end. Lakes were icy there was a inch of snow around the shore lines.Trails were ok in the bush lots of base just need a covering now.Anywere around a road is toast.Did some water jumping 30 ft or so.Havent done that in a while.

I have gone thru 2 of those long neck thermos put the shorter style on now.
