I WANT TO SEE IF MY INFO IS CORRECT, ANYBODY HAVE SPEC ON THIS SPRING. 3:16 (yammie tony)

tony, the info i have is 230/360 and 1.79kg rate. is this what you have? i have seen it also written down as a 230/350 spring. i was going to have my buddy measure the spring out on a valve spring tester, but the spring is too long to fit on the tester.

red 230/360
gray 230/330
white 170/300
black 140/400
heelclickers are a excellent speed run weight. in back to back testing @ nbssr ( 2000' ) i found only 1/10th of a mph difference between 8bu00 & HC's on my IS700 srx. this was a full bodied sled - 755# w/ driver!
got almost the same results when i tested both on my 835 trail sled.

Bob where you been hiding lately?? Do you have that SRX project together for this winters NBSSR runs? Quick question on your set up with the heel clicker weights.. Where you running there springs?? Did you try anything else for springs? I used a set of clickers with OEM yamaha springs and had pretty good results for top end speeds..

haven't even started the project. waiting on the sponsor to do the motor!
i always used the red hc springs. did you find a difference?

What springs were you using for top speeds with Heelclickers

i played a little w/heel clickers and the stock y/w/y spring w/decent results. i lost access to that set of heel clickers, before i could try any other springs.

Sorry for stealing your post Tony but the heelclickers you (Mopar1rules) were using were there any notches or cut to these weights or just stock HC weights just looking for every little bit info on heelclickers

GUYS , NO PROBLEM ON THE HI-JACK STUFF, KEEP THE GOOD INFO COMING. !! I DID NOTCH MY HEEL CLICKERS FOR A HIGHER ENAGEMENT WITH THE RED SPRING FOR GRASS AND ICE. THEY ARE A GREAT DRAG RACE WEIGHT , BUT I AM NOT GONNA SAY THEY BLOW 8BU WEIGHTS AWAY LIKE OTHERS HAVE SAID HERE. GUYS, HERE IS MY NEW SET-UP IN MY 2002 SRX FOR LONG HAUL BLAZEING.
8BU-10
AROUND 55 GRAMS.
23/38 GEARING
47-41 CAM @ 80
MIGHT THROW A BENDER CAN ON FOR ALITTLE NOISE, BUT STOCK MUFFLER WHEN I WANT TO RUN. KEEP IN MIND THIS IS MY LAKE RUNNER. 3:16 (yammie tony)

Tony that set up is close to what we ran in our stock 2000 srx for 2000 ft radar runs. 8BU10's fully loaded with a couple grams extra in the outside hole. WWW spring, pink secondary wrapped to around 70 degrees, helix finish around 40 degrees (i varied this from 38 to 41) This set up changed from day to day depending on ice conditions, winds, air temp and pressure. We where always competive in our class.. Won a whole lot more ofter than we lost.. I think we where 9 first and a second last year in NBSSR trail stock..

Tested heel clickers with YWY and GWG springs, had to notch weights and cut spider and split collars. Worked well on a modded SX.. Haven't tried it on my SRX's yet but think they could work for the stocker aswell..
