Coincidence I have a 51/40 helix and 8BU10 Weights...I think not.. :bump:
what do these weights weight unloaded ???

tried er out...will be doing more testing tomorrow

Tried my 8BU-10's tonight
This is the first time trying 8BU-10'S
Suspension Set pretty soft
Really cold night
144 Trail Studs 1.7's 3/4 Ultramax Track
200 lb Rider...lol
50/42 Dalton Helix
New Yamaha Belt (just broke er in yesterday)
Brand New Buttons
4.5 g Middle & 4.5 g tip
Bender Orange spring with ingagement shim
Blk spring with Green dot on it... 80degree twist

Conditions: Not hard pack snow...abit loose... It was Night time didn't pay too much attention to speed just revs...Will test this alittle more tomorrow in the day on the trail... and see what kind of speed I can get on the lake...
Ingagement was 4,000 RPM's spun alot..going to sharpen studs..soon
Quickly went to 8500 RPM'S and stayed there..

are you sure its a PINK dot? the stock spring should be a RED dot. the pink spring is for apexs and is far too stiff for a srx application.

Maybe your right..I just saw a black spring...lol I'll have another look..It's whatever the stock spring is..

Just Checked Black Spring Green Dot What's that...lol

I don't have the 8bu-10's,just got the 8bu-oo's the other day
My set up to begin with will be as follows::


8bu-oo weights
4.5 tip
.8 inner(if need be)
www or stock primary spring
51/43 Helix(all I have besides stock 47)
Green Spring at 80 wrap

when the snow stops here and gets colder next week..may make an attempt to try it out.

yeah it pulls really hard...Seems to have long legs on the lake...Going to line up with a few of the local srx's and see how they do ... I'm thinking not well...lol Would like to play alittle more with the suspension and Get those studs looking sharp...lol
