OK GUYS, HAD A CHANCE TO RACE A 09 XP800 r AND 2004 FIRECAT 700 WITH A D& D pipe, clutch kit, timing key (whatever ). I DID NOT DRIVE BECAUSE I AM 235, BUT LET MY 145 POUND NEIGHBOR DRIVE. THE F-7 WAS A JOKE, DROVE AROUND HIM ONE TIME, THE XP BEAT US ONCE BECAUSE OF BAD START BUT OTHER THREE TIMES WE RACED HIM WE WALKED AWAY FROM HIM. THESE ARE GREAT MID AND TOP END WEIGHTS. THIS IS WITH MY 2002 SRX. SLED IS 100% STOCK EXCEPT CLUTCHING AND MEGA-BITES. 3:16 (yammie tony)

04 F7's were prob the slowest of all the yrs (opinion, not factual) but thats still very impressive. Whats your complete set-up? rivets, prim spring, secondary and jetting? thanks,

BTW, your collection of Yamaha's is awesome! You have a little bit of the best of Yamaha 2 strokes from the last 30 years...

COOL BUD!!!!! I,LL TELL YA THESE THINGS HIT LIKE A IRATE MOTHER-IN-LAW MIDRANGE AND TOP. !! 3:16 (yammie tony)

They do, I ground in a very small engagement notch, and HOLY H*LL! They hit hard!

It's about time

Hey Tony, where have you been? Tyler Flagg (SRXMAGIC) preached about these weights on this site over 5 years ago! They do work. I'm glad I sold them to you and made you so happy. About 5 or 6 years ago I was up at ESTA visiting Tyler and some of his New England buddies. There was a really fast 1000+ cc SRX there kicking some tail. Tyler was helping him out with clutching. Can you guess what they were running? These weights are not the best et weight necessarily....they don't grab the belt very hard down low. Pretty darn good on the lake or trail. Respectable backshift too. In my 780 Viper I used to run them with a Hauck orange primary spring (55-136) or if the traction wasn't good a GWG (45-136) to get the engagement down. Secondary was 51/47......but I believe I also used them with a straight 45. Enjoy!

My 05 (diamond drive) ran 1 sled length in front of a 05 chaincase/reverse model and put 3-4 sleds on an 04. Unstudded I got 116 bone stock--Studded was--112. I thought I remembered the 04 ECU was lame but I cant remember. All 06's are fast and an 06 reverese sled is faster than an 03. Eitherway, Im sure that 04 with the pipe and being tuned was running well.

Im getting ready to yank my MAXX roller with a 64/44/white spring and throw in my new 54/44/silver spring (stock 02 primary)--so im gathering as much info as possible here. I got beat (1 sled length) by a bone stock 03 F7 last weekend....

Hey guys, Sounds like you know clutching well on the '98 SRX's. I just got a Primary clutch w/ the 8bu-10 arms/weights. Do you know how many grams those weights are and does it rev out at 88/8900 which is stock rev? I have a secondary bender helix w/ the black spring geen dot(second stiffest yamie spring)It also has the black spring(primary) in her, my other primary had an ornage one and launched very slowly and smooth.
I really like the new clutch alot. It launches hard and fast! Can't wait to race people. I also have a 1.25 Ripsaw w/ 144 studs(Stud boy). Thanks inadvaced for the help!
