mod..just finished installing my 68 link chain in chaincase. It looks look I originally installed the bottom sprocket the wrong way. This may have put a strain on the chain being on an angle slightly.MAYBE THIS WAS PREVENTING SOME BINDING AND TOP END SPEED!!!!!! Got it right now.Now I am going to check my PV's for pull thrus and adj. them again just in case.I have found 3 new reeds from 1 dealer here..but want all 6 inside replaced.
don't stop i'm sure your on a good way

no riding guys..then you talk about cats and dogs...lol
Took my SRX out today for about 50 miles. She is actually running perky again. My rpm's are back up to 8400 ish wot...didn't do that last weekend..
Did a few runs today and hitting 100 isn't a chore anymore..good to see.Stopped to check clutches and there was fluffy stuff on my air vleaner and then noticed around the bellypan...the belt finally bite the bullet. Two strands hanging off the edge about 3 inches long.Lucky I stop to look or still be be on the River using my pocket knife try to cut belt threads when the belt would off unwound itself around everything.
So finally had to put a new belt on and broke it in for nearly 30 miles.Man the sled is snappy again..front end lifts when I nail it and ski's stay up when I am at 30 mph.Didn't really do any long wot runs with new belt yet.Nailed it a couple of times to see where rpm's were.Looks like the new belt drops the rpms as mentioned by some here. Will remove outer rivet in weights and put back to stock 3.6 for now and leave helix and wrap stock to.Then on the weekend will see what gives.Love the acceleration again and the pull it has.Have to hang on when you nail it from about 30mph..pulls like mad.
Clutch's are totally cool to the touch which is good to.I am HAPPY for now that I can ride with no issues.Weekend gonna be fun and a lot of riding.More snow coming tomorrow they say..

Yes there is lots of snow Still 2 feet or more... There is only 2 feet of ice this year and the temps are 0 and warmer sometimes I guess they were thinkin there wont be enough ice by march 13.. Who needs ice anyways? only make the quest more of a challenge I can still leave from my backyard and go to my cabin so were all good for a while yet!!!!
