Wow now thats a project. So to run a 144 on a 136 skid you will be moving the skid back in the tunnel to make up difference? Curious as i hope to 136 my viper next winter. CCC

Yea, that's the idea, the skid sits back 4" I believe. I'm going to have fun with this. It's my first sled build.

yes that will work very well i have a136 m10 set into avmax4800 with 141, allso do ur self a 8 inch rear wheel kit will aide in more track speed and less rolling resistance AL

For now I'll degrease it one more time. Not sure how want handle the tunnel yet (shiny bare aluminum or keeping it black. But probably... IDK.

Quick Update...
OK just an update... I'm using an 136" IQ skid now, not a M10. Also decided that because of money constraints and such to just use a 136" track with a 144" tunnel ext (so that I can still add a 144" track in the future.) For this year at least I'm going to stick with the same front and put some sxr shocks (purchased for only $50) in possibly use a widening kit from Bethviper. The tunnel is at the welders right now getting a couple cracks welded up. I started to polish it, but figured I'd wait til it was welded up. The cracks were right up in the corners by the heat exchanger. I'll post pics when I get it back. Oh, and the cases for the motor are in the dishwasher right now. The crank is going to a shop today to have a couple bearings replaced and to be trued. I picked up an older set of Bender pipes for it. I've also bought a set of red C&A skis, a red viper seat and viper tank for it. I've got all the big stuff purchased just waiting on a couple of them to arrive (so far I think I've spent about $1200 total). I'm getting excited to start putting things back together!

OK finally some progress... I got the tunnel extension on and the new front heat exchanger installed. Ready to start putting the belly panels back on. Pictures coming...

this might just have to be my next endever!!!! Watching these projects come together is sooo much more fun than tearing down and fixing someone elses problems!!! I can only imagine the feeling of completing and riding a one of a kind!!!!!

OK a couple warm days and the nice weather is about to end... so I figured I'd better take advantage of it and wet sand the tunnel, so I can polish it. I also repaired the heat shielding in the engine bay. I spent 5-6 hours wet sanding it over the last 2 days, then I decided to start buffing it, I started buffing on the extension.
