Thats one variety, dont know if that particular one would grab hard enough on that small of a diameter as clutch or crank, looks like its designed for bigger diameter. I have seen alot of different styles, some actually use motorcycle type chain for strap where marring fininsh product isnt a concern.

The handle of mine is made of cast aluminum. I'd have to look but I purchased mine 15 years ago from the Victor Enterprises... I think. It was the supplier for Polaris speciality tools.
Depending on the contour of the belly pan, I wrap it around the primary cover or the large portion of the fixed sheave and let the handle rest on the 2x4 that is laying on the bottom of the belly pan.
