sled is running back with a new crank cylinder piston ............hope that sled will pull like hummmmmmmmmmmmm not like a train lolll

Good you have it running again!
Did you check and clean or remove the fuel screens under the float bowl needle seat? They can cause mysterious and repeat engine damage. I have removed them on all my sleds so I don't have to worry about them plugging up and I just rely on the fuel tank filter like every other sled manufacturer does.

yeah thnx for the input ..the oil cable was way out of spec and crank bearing failed ...ill go for a little test tomorow with the 165 main jet ...not sure how ritch it will be ...better be ritch than seize..thnx again for the jet ;)!

rich......lol..you got lots of money at that richness you will be burning a gallon of gas in about 10 minutes....you could perhaps get 2 -3 miles per gallon..not bad...lol

A few years back, I was having to jet my SRX with jets as big as 160s and up. I always thought it shouldn't need such large mains and jetting it larger even to 165s seemed to have little effect on the way it ran. I decided to install larger Q-8 needle jets and then the sled was so rich at full throttle I had to jet it way down to 155s to get it to run properly!
Once I established that my sled was lean on the needle jet/needles I then went back to the stock Q-6s but have the needles on the 4th clip and my jetting is in the 155 - 158.8 range.

Worked for me!

I WAS THINKING EXACTLY THAT THE 02 IS THE SLEIGH PULLER AND ITS GEARED DOWN , PILOTS UP ONE AND STOCK JETTING , BUT I TOOK HER FOR A RIDE WITHOUT THE SLEIGH AT MINUS 21C , MELTED THE MAG SIDE AND THEN CENTER ROD LET GO ? ...LOL..... JUMPED ON THE 2000 AND STILL FOLLOWED THE PLAN , BUT I GOT TO TELL YA , CRUSHED BY AN APEX MOST OF THE DAY ......WELL .....ALL DAY ,I WAS LOOKING FOR HARD PACK JUST TO KEEP UP SOME .......
