prankster said:I was wondering about exciter and hydraulic brakes... i mean the original ones aint that good right? My cousin used one from a srx with very good results, however he had to modify quite a bit to make em work. Is there any "close" to bolt on solution? I mean where u just need to make a new bracket or something?
1995vmax500le said:i just did this on my 95 vmax500 le. i got a caliper and master cylinder off this site from an rx1 and made a bracket out of 1/4" aluminum plate. i have some measurments for the holes if i can find them. pretty easy and quick to do.
The TM carburetors does not have an "Air Screw" !!prankster said:I got my sled going today, had some ice in the fuel petcock...
Anyway it still goes kind of rich on low rpm (sounds like a 4 stroke),
even though I moved the needle clip to second position, and changed the airscrew to 1½
The current jetting is 150 main and 52,5 pilots,
The new UNI's work much better than the previous "green" ones which is a great relief![]()
Just use the "SX" jetting as a safe baseline jetting and work your way down from there.prankster said:Kind of fed up with my jetting issues now,
beginning to be very impatient...
want to drive!
I'm just foiling plugs and the damn thing sounds like a fourstroke.
I should be right according to the SX jetting but it seems way to rich,
even though it was -10 degrees today..
What can I do guys ?
