Nice job Pete. Did you also due the aluminum welding? I wanted to weld the extensions I did for my wife's rox treds but just ended up riviting. They look awesome. Are you going to use the grip edges for them? Rox still sells them and they aren't to expensive last I looked. Gives your foot a nice edge so it won't slip off. Had them on a set for my back up viper. I Used cat rails on my wife's. A little taller and stronger
My friend is a professional welder and does all my work for me. These r the old style rox that have the edge already cut out and is very sharp and grippy. These were from a iq Polaris sled that I made work. Got them for 25 bucks. I can have them done for u if u want.

Thanks pete, I'm all set for now. Elizabeth and I are going to redo her sled this summer. These would be a nice addition for sure. I think rox still sells those treds also. I'll keep an eye out and let ya know.

Hey Amato how did you make out with those LED headlight bulbs we talked about last winter? I tried a set with out the capasitors and they where horrible, just wondered how you made out.
Looking awesome as always Pete. Merry Christmas!
I liked my set I did very bright and no funny stuff must use capacitors and dc converters.

Correction. A full wave bridge rectifier was wired in to convert the AC output of the stator going to the headlight bulbs to DC current. And... I did the installation.

If I remember right, the LED headlights that we installed on Pete's sled were 20w per bulb. There are new ones out there now that are 30w-40w per bulb. Pete's do not have fans in them like a lot of them out there do. I think some of the higher-wattage LED headlights are also made that way.
