your longest ride...

wow thats a long ride :flag:

I have gone about 160miles in a day.We dont have any groomed trails around though. Just the trails we made, lakes, fields, roads stuff like that.

my goal is to get 300 miles this year. ya the 283 miler sucked. you get through the first 175 and its liek is it over yet...but im 15 so i can take it lol not

We have done Kirkland Lake to Hearst a few times in ONE day, something like 500kms or 10hrs of riding, with breaks of course LOL.....but i can't find anybody who will do this anymore............James

We did Elliot Lake (laurentian lodge) to Chapleau and back last year, In one Day. Had to use the passenger seat on the Venture almost the whole way back as well, because the Doo with us burned down. :yam: Don't know how far that was but it was a REAL long day.

The most miles i have rode in a day is about 184 but i know a guy who did 360 miles in the U.P. in one day. I dont think i would be able to ride that much in a day. :yam:

IT WAS OVER 300 last year we went from muni throught grand marias to seney to newberry to paradise and back through only the north. it was a killer ride back from paradise, my hemmi's are cringing just thinking about it. i would still do it again, just not on a stock travel 97sx

Did the Superior Snow loop out of Wawa in one day 2 years ago. 467 miles total. 13 hours of riding. High temp. for the day was -5f.

240 miles on the last TY ride in Houghton on Sunday, after gettin really drunk in the bar Sat. night singing with Tom, Terry, and Brian. The ride back that night from Bruce Crossing was really cold, around -2 if I remember right, not to mention the wind chill riding 70mph. My windshield on my sled was covered in thick frost when we got back. Thank God for heated visors. I was pretty glad to see the lights coming into Houghton from the south that night.

Usually we do about 100 - 150 mile rides in a day, but up here in the U.P. I have no big reason to kill my self over a 200+ mile ride when I can ride every weekend or everyday when i have time. I am about 20 miles short of 700 miles so far this year. last year i only put on 1000 miles all year so im sitting pretty good.

301 miles, Newberry to Paradise then took trail 8 all the way to Munising. Left at 8 am and returned at 10pm. Only stops were lunch in Grand Marais and fuel stops. The most impresive part was, we did this with 4 guys on a Saturday. Weekends realy suck! Oh yes, did I mention I was on my SRX, everyone else had 11.5 or more in there suspension. I had to stick my thumb up my butt and fart just to get one-eyed willie to come out and play when we returned. ;)!
Can't wait to try it again :!:

We did 310 miles from Pittsburg to Lincoln, NH and back. Was a long day, left at 9AM and got back at 10PM.

First sled first ride, 312 miles first ever real ride i had about 800miles on a 1994 vmax4 five of us total, hooked up with a bud in pennellville n.y. @ 5a.m to meet the rest of the gang @ 6a.m in constantia, filled up and headed to rome fiiled up, off to old forge filled up @1pm sitting at still water restaurant eating lunch filled up. Hit big moose and then back to brantingham accross the 9 mile crossing thats more like 25miles...from there went accross tug hill to flat rock and on to barns corners filled up, south through boylston , sandycreek, pulaski, and sitting in parish grist mill restaurant for supper @8pm filled up, back in pennellville at 10pm....it was quite a ride over 1100miles on the odometer when we made it home.

Two seperate rides of 304 miles and 309 miles but never made it past that real first ride. would love to plan another long ride.....CP

I go and ride in northern Maine for a week just about every winter and up there we average between 200-300+ miles a day. :yam:

150kms, but we stop to do some ice fishing, have a cookup and visit someone's cabin (we make a day out of it). We don't have any snowmobile trails here, so we just make our trails through the woods and go accross lakes/ponds (so the day seems longer).

I got a couple of trips planned this year which will be over 300kms. That's alot for here since there's no snowmobile trails ;)!
