I agree whole hearted lyxsivhp said:I wave to people that use hand signals whenever the conditions allow me to. If everyone drove like there was a sled coming all the time and stayed in control of their sled and on their side of the trail, nobody would need to use had signals. I think turning signals are great at intersections if there's confusion in who's going where ... but expecting me to tell everyone there's people behind me when I'm riding for whatever purpose is absolutely rediculous!! IMHO.
. I can see letting people in your group know that sleds r coming ,but to let the sleds coming know that there r people in your group is utter nonsense.Ive actually had someone plow into me ,headon because his hands were in the air and not on his bars. Just so he cud tell me that there was someone behind him ,that i cud see! People where did you ever get the idea that you had to signal every snowmobiler on the trail. Is everyone braindead? I have been riding snowmobiles longer than christ, and Im tellin you that you cannot do this . It is way too dangerous! Ride smart , be carful, respect the other riders, but most of all , KEEP YOUR HANDS ON THE BARS!
