my kid has a 2000 phazer a i put a riser on it ...now the throttle cable is too short ...they dont make a throttle extender for it ...anybody run into this yet ...this is only a single cable not a double

You can try rerouting cable and gain some slack. If you look on the steering column there a metal hoop that cable runs thru.Take it out of there and route it the shortest distance to throttle block.Let us know what size riser is on there.

3 inch...i did some checking and a mountain lite cable is still too short...powermadd doesnt make an adapter for this set up ...looks like i need a custom made cable.if i had about 6 more inches it would be perfect

I found a guy down south that builds cables for ultralight aircraft and sent the cable to him ...keeping my fingers crossed

He's gonna add 3 inchs to the length of the cable you sent him....right. To make up the 3 inch riser. I'd hate to think that you left that out. Sounds like something I'd do though.

Got the cable back and the guy did a great job ....cant tell it from a factory cable and it fits perfect ...feels like a whole different sled with risers
