You can try rerouting cable and gain some slack. If you look on the steering column there a metal hoop that cable runs thru.Take it out of there and route it the shortest distance to throttle block.Let us know what size riser is on there.

3 inch...i did some checking and a mountain lite cable is still too short...powermadd doesnt make an adapter for this set up ...looks like i need a custom made cable.if i had about 6 more inches it would be perfect
i have a friend that makes custom cables. if your interested i could give him a call and see if he can help you out.
pm me how long it is and if you have a picture, I might have something that will work.

He's gonna add 3 inchs to the length of the cable you sent him....right. To make up the 3 inch riser. I'd hate to think that you left that out. Sounds like something I'd do though.skidoostan said:I found a guy down south that builds cables for ultralight aircraft and sent the cable to him ...keeping my fingers crossed

I seem to remember our venerable Vmax 4 engines were either FAA or EAA certified for ultralights.

Got the cable back and the guy did a great job ....cant tell it from a factory cable and it fits perfect ...feels like a whole different sled with risers
Post some nice pictures of the custom made throttle cable.skidoostan said:Got the cable back and the guy did a great job...
