If your new belt is chirping you need to shim your secondary to let it drop down in your clutch a little.

tons of snow here.took out the XTC piped 700 with 1.5 track today..wow it was fun not getting stuck..Love the sled, punch it from a stop and lifts skis to 11 o'clock position..wicked.Climbs the hills all the way up catwalking, skis never touch..love the pull with the triple SLP pipes on this redhead 700

Typical. Go out riding on Sunday. Excited to see how the new clutching would work. Blow the bottom bearring in the chain case. Just my luck this year

Thats a "Wicked Pissah" as we say here in Maine. But checking all driveline bearings as part of your Preseason maintenance will put an end to these failures. nothing worse than ruining a ride over a $12 bearing.

Do u take out the shims out on the back of the secondary?

Yes. The three little washers. Thats what I read online to do. Put a new belt on and broke it in. Put about 100 km on it. Put the washers back in started squealing again. So I took them out and kept them out. Had no problems since. Am I doing something wrong?
