lol. Ya I hear that. The SRX wasnt built for hard landings. I log a lot of air time, but you need good forward momentum for smooth landings.
One thing I really like about the SRX is it's level flying. When you catch those unexpected launches at 80mph in a field, there's no surprises. She sails straight and level every time. I've yet feel out of control.....atleast while flying.
It's when your in the air and see the corner you just missed going by that makes you say...oh shyte.
Some guys cant stand riding the same trails day after day, but it's good fun riding when you know every launch and every corner. It doesnt matter what other people are riding. They arent keeping up when I'm in my backyard.
To anyone riding into Shelburne from the north end along the highway. Slow down at the bend. There's a big launch that sails just slightly left, but the trail goes right, up an embankment and goes single lane between a hydro pole and a fence. I think there was even a guide wire in the mix. It's easy to ramp up the speed along there, but it's one time that the "SLOW" sign is correct. You could easily end up on the highway.
Definitely an "OH SHYTE" moment.
