My new srx

BAM !!!! Those pipes turned out smokin ;)! .

Those transfer rods, would they happen to have a single allen head locking screw in the big adjuster nut? If they do then they are most likely the same ones I bought years ago from Royal but as far as a manufacturer that I can't help you with.Royal sourced out a lot of suppliers as I'm sure you know.

Ya I'm happy with how they turned out. I'll have to see how it lasts.
I couldn't find any pj1 paint.

Yep, they have an allen head locking screw. How do you like em?

They are nice rods, they adjust quickly and I can't ever remember them ever backing off on me.I have a handlebar bag on my sled where I carry the allen wrench but one other item you will want to carry with you is a small pick or small flat screw driver to dig the ice and snow out of the head of the allen screw. It tends to fill up lol.

I almost forgot something too,if you want to keep that hood cable and tension spring from chaffing the paint up again take the end where it hooks to the bumper frame and hook it up where that air duct, snorkel rivets to the hood. All that spring does is keep the tension on the retaining cable and I know I've cursed it for years,I'd paint the pipes all up only to have them look like crap after only a few rides from the cable chaffing on them.If you mount the spring end where I did it will pull the cable away from the pipes so it wont scrape on them when the hood is down.

I had the same kind of rods from Royal, ended up throwing the adjusters out,the allan screws got stripped after a little use.I have the max performance ones now and they are sweet to adjust.Just go easy on the allan screws.
