WHAT has the weather been like lately where you live??

WICKED WEATHER... temps just right, warm enough to rain yet everything continued to gain ice thickness. We back on to a ravine and every 3-5 minutes you would hear another tree either shed it's ice and snap back up or succumb to the weight, sounded like thunder. No power for 16 hrs... couldn't get my TV fix...

Bad ice storm here too. 10's of Thousands without power, trees down all over, relatives staying with us cuz they don't have power and don't know when it will be back on. Came to work this morning with no traffic lights. Fun stuff.

Should be able to go up north and ride after Christmas, hope the snow stays around.

^^^^^I feel for you guys dealing with that crap. We went through that a couple years ago. Had no power for 6 days. Hopefully they get you guys back up and running soon. We're dealing with light rain right now 33*F. Dropped to 32 last night and froze everything up but haven't lost power yet. We HAD over a foot of snow on the ground, now were down to about 6", hopefully, that stays put.

Yesterday every time I went outside I kept hearing trees cracking and breaking.

That is a scary sound for sure! I have alot of Pine around my house, thankfully they fell the other way. Except for a small birch that snapped and ripped the lines off my house. ughhhh.

Send some down here. Drove by the trail head in town last night on the way home from work and they've closed the gate. Calling for 5-10cm tomorrow, and 1-3 today. Coming down lightly right now....

Ha ha
Ice Storm here on the 21st (freezing rain) trees down and power outage vast in the GTA and surrounding areas (Toronto, Markham, Scarborough, Pickering etc). Lots of trees took out lines and both power and cable for internet, internet phones obviously down then. Now on the 3rd day with the temp dropped yesterday to -13C last night. I was out for about a day. One of the more fortunate ones considering what others are doing. Even streets away from me are out more than a day longer than me and waiting.

This one is in the record books here as the ice is still on everything and will not melt at these temperatures. Any wind just takes down more trees which are at the breaking point.

-15f last night, been unusually cold so far with lots of light snowfalls, still waiting for that one big snow, least its not melting

Over a foot off snow down now.Best start to winter in about 6 years(if it turns out like the 2007-2008 winter it will be epic).More on the way tonight and later this week(fingers crossed).Got over 200miles on my new 2014 phazer already(04 warrior still on the trailer sleeping,LOL).Local sled dealers are selling out there inventory(Yamaha especially).Hopes it a good sign.Heres a pic from a few days ago.Old meets new.........dec 23 2013.jpg
