3 questions....

thanks , i understand...
therefore Wiseco be a good idea ....
I can not find the 8CA pistons, finally, I found but they do not deliver in France!

Avoid the yamaha pistons or be very selective. The first version were known for failure.

PMaine, are you referring to the 1997-up 600 twin pistons, or the 1994-1996 600 twin pistons?

edit
Dang you 2 bucks, beat me to it!

Wow yes I am speaking about 1997. Sorry about that. 8c r 00 is what I had for OEM pistons that failed In my 1997.

Hey, it's good to have it cleared up, helps everyone that is interested. Your 8cr-00 pistons likely haven't been available since way back then unless someone has kept 'em that long or in an engine that has never had them updated. I would think Yamaha's updated 8cr-10 pistons would be fine to use in 97-up applications unless someone can advise otherwise.

For JAPET's purpose, as long as your cylinders and pistons are within size spec and aren't scratched or damaged, they should be fine to use. If you need to replace pistons, I'd try to find the 8ca's that you are referring to, along with new rings and anything else that needs to be replaced. The 8ca pistons are still reasonable priced making them an even better choice.

Little tip I got from Olav himself years ago on the trail twins run the 8-8200 rpms you will see way better performance

I am enough this view, thanks.

Isn't the sled reving to 9000 and finally settling in at 8500? If so, I'd have to say it's spring related. But you are running a non-Yami primary spring so I cannot advise. What is your helix?

it's quite that.
spring is the Aaen calls for these pipes.
I also yami spring green pink green.
Helix stock, 41° I believe ..
