you mean engaging at 7000?put a stock primary spring in .you should engage at about 4200 rpm,sounds like a primary problem to me,try that

No it only revs to that rpm

did you change anything on the primary since it was running good before?if you have a short cover primary clutch with a long cover primary spring, then theres your problem,make sure it has the right spring for the clutch.if you still have the old spring, then put them side by side, and look at the length of the springs, you will know right away.

I changed nothing. New springs but it's doing the same thing. Something is not making power somewhere

I thought the hauck orange is made up of 5 coils not 4Primary doesn't look too bad.

On the jackstand I can get it to shift at 7500 rpm and then will eventually climb to 8500.
All the cables felt nice and pushed in nice under the servo cover. The servo and cables moved nicely while idling below 900 rpm

take a look at the reeds, i know its a pia, but pull the carbs and look at the reeds just to be sure

good advice, id check that too, might as well start with the basics, and check everything, the only way your gonna figure this one out

Also check crank seal with carb cleaner. Easy thing to rule out

Did you try bypassing tors? Sounds like you've eliminated clutches...My other guess would be powervalves

also, you never said if you checked the stator,if you did, what were the readings?
